pm-is-supported --suspend returns 0 (success) This is ubuntu maverick. invoking sh -v $(which pm-suspend) shows the last line executed as init_logfile ${PM_LOGFILE} -- pm-suspend changes VT and waits (but does not suspend) where echo mem /sys/power/state works fine
