Public bug reported:
Failure in installing 6.10 RC on boot. x386 CD boots and goes along
without issue. Gets to the GDM Login screen (I'm assuming this is what
it is going to when you go in the first time via the CD/Live CD) and the
screen goes blank/black. I can still use my keyboard and hear stuff in
the background. Just can't see anything, any longer. This occurs on the
regular boot in and the 2nd graphics option.
I'm using an ATI Radeon 9200 SE card, Compaq P1100 21' monitor and AMD
K8V SE Deluxe mobo, 512mb RAM.
