I couldn't reproduce this and haven't heard of this happening anywhere
else. I'll close this ticket and if someone else comes along reopen it.

I've managed to upgrade to 0.24 successfully, so this bug needs no
further action. I'm new to launchpad and am not sure of the
appropriate steps to take with the bug status.
