I'm using Acquire::GzipIndexes "true" for apt since multiple years,
didn't encounter any trouble until recently with ppa-purge.
While I can understand the trouble for something that might not be
really common, it would be helpful to at least have an explicit warning
or abort in ppa-purge when inde
