Binary package hint: xscreensaver-gl
Opening the screensaver preferences on my IBM X40 Thinkpad crashes X,
as does allowing the screensaver to activate.
This appears to be openGL related, since trying to run glxgears has teh
same effect.
Attempting to remove xscreensaver-gl will also remove the ubuntu-desktop
package.
