Title:
Toshiba Satellite U500 fails to resume from suspend

ubuntu-bugs mailing
Alas, not. This appears to be occurring intermittently still.
Tested with latest mainline kernel linux-
image-2.6.37-999-generic_2.6.37-999.201012151130_i386.deb, which seems
to work for around 5 cycles successfully but then the CPU fan does not
start at all.

With the option removed, I do not see the suspend/resume issue, testing
through a larger number of cycles to be sure.

** Description changed:
After upgrading to 10.10 from 10.04, I can no longer resume from suspend

Running with pm-suspend in a terminal still causes the resume to fail.
