Tried installing latest daily kernel modules.. Auto switching happens on
rear/headphone output even though it still shows option to select in
sound control and stays on rear output even when it's switched to front.
Had to uninstall the beta driver as everything started sounded really
tinny
I'll be completely honest, I can't recall.. Shall I resubmit in the non
functional state.. functional state.. or one of both?

After a kernel update released a version of kernel for which there
wasn't daily alsa build, things went back to both mike sockets being
selectable (good) and audio out of both headphone and speaker sockets
whilst speaker selected (bearable).

Headphones still not working, however now I can't get input through my
