We don't have this neither in debian or ubuntu.
So version 0.24 is not possible atm.

affected by this. The new version of gearman and libgearman should work

There were some files dropped from the Debian dir that are not mentioned in the
changelog, Im wondering if these changes were intentional or not:
libgearman-doc.doc-base.api
libgearman-doc.doc-base.dev
Also, the make docs was dropped from debian/rules, same question
