Public bug reported:
In Edgy Eft, after the Gnome desktop loads using the tdfx driver Gnome
freezes and GDM restarts on a new vt. If I switch to using vesa, I can
run gnome just fine (minus the hardware acceleration).
I'm using a Voodoo 3 3000 16 Meg PCI card.
