You received this bug notification because you are
Intrepid doesn't include hdaps_ec at all, which seems to be needed for
the T60 acceleration sensor to work (see bug #297213). Anyway, should I
send you the output of dmidecode in an email or is it safe to post this
information here on this public space?

@Matthias -- to make it the default we would need the output from the

The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the
upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.

I've tested with the latest Hardy kernel now. It still doesn't work out of the
box but you can make it work by first loading tp_smapi and then hdaps_ec with
option invert=7:
modprobe tp_smapi
modprobe hdaps_ec invert=7.
Could invert=7 be made the default for the T60 in one of the upcoming kernel
If you can, please retest with the latest Hardy kernel. bug 33950 has
addressed this. Thanks.

I installed linux-image-2.6.17-50-generic today which claims to fix
this. Unfortunately, it doesn't, because, I guess, it only inverts one
or both axes, instead of swapping x and y. Is it possible to swap x and
y?
