Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mutter
Summary: ------------- When I log into Unity, the first program I launch is Pidgin. I use it for IRC, so I get a message stating I have been logged in in the form of a normal chat. I close the tab that informs me that I have received a message and Unity crashes and restarts. (I am not logged out though, it just blanks out for a second). Steps To Reproduce: --------------------------- 1, Log into Ubuntu Netbook 2. Start Pidgin 3, Log into Freenode on IRC, and get a PM from the bots 4. Close one of the two message tabs 5. Unity crashes and restarts.
