Yes, reproducible on Gutsy. I have Gutsy and this WAS working, and no
no longer is. The one thing I can think of was that I just pulled the
USB cable (oops) and then got a message that I should have "ejected" the
camera. The camera is working, and there are pictures on it, but it's
telling me "n
[Expired for gthumb (Ubuntu) because there has been no activity for 60
days.]

Happens here too, with a Canon Digital SD700 IS.
When I plug the camera gThumb shows up the Camera Imports Photos window but
with an error.
I tried different cables that work ok.

And i also get the following error sometimes: "An error occurred in the
io-library ('Bad parameters'): Could not find USB device (vendor 0x4a9,
product 0x311c). Make sure this device is connected to the computer."
I can import pics properly with dapper. These errors happened in edgy
only.

Happens here too, with a Canon PowerShot SD600. How does manually
launching the import wizard happen? The way is to use the command gnome-
volume-manager-gthumb %h right? But after i choose the right model i get
"no images found" which is incorrect.

import wizard works. I'm not sure what would be the relevant log file
here.
