I couldn't reproduce this issue in an up-to-date Natty VM. I suspect what is happening to you is your firefox is actually crashing on shutdown, at which point firefox keeps your cookies and restores your session. Can you reproduce this with firefox 4.0 beta 8? ** Changed in: firefox (Ubuntu)
