Apart from okular, no free software chm reader has ability to annotate[ highlight, comment etc.] .chm files. I should know, I tried them all. So either I: 1. compile okular with said backend on my own 2. Use a windows application 'Ultrachm' which works under wine The excellent guys at chmsee have
