The Ubuntu Kernel Team is planning to move to the 2.6.27 kernel for the
upcoming Intrepid Ibex 8.10 release. As a result, the kernel team would
appreciate it if you could please test this newer 2.6.27 Ubuntu kernel.
There are one of two ways you should be able to test:
1) If you are comfortable
I'm no longer using that hardware, so can't provide a view on status
with Hardy I'm afraid.

The 18 month support period for Edgy Eft 6.10 has reached it's end of

When I have some time tonight I will test the kernel linked in the bugreport.
One of the posters mentioned that this was a regression introduced into 2
I tried five suspend/resume cycles, as well as two hibernate/wake
cycles. I had to resort to a "real" shutdown (poweroff) and restart
before audio worked again.
I'll keep trying other combinations of things to see if I can narrow the
failure scenario down any.

I happen to know that he's running 2.6.20 now, though apparently he has
a different problem with that kernel. I don't know whether the original
problem persists.
