I checked the disc and it was fine. I can't boot from the WAITEC, I even tried SBM but it still couldn't load from the WAITEC. Is there another way to install it? Do I need to download the alternate CD to do a text based installation? Can't I do it with this disc? -- You received this bug

I got failed installations on a 256MB RAM Compaq Evo N600 laptop with LiveCD, my CD checksum was fine, the prolem was my CD-ROM, it's too old and it runs slwly, so I couldn't install other lightweight distros also (and even Windows XP), then I had to install Lubuntu from Ubuntu MinimalCD. Sure
