Confirmed that rolling back glib2.0 worked for me:
sudo apt-get install libglib2.0-0=2.27.5-0ubuntu1
libglib2.0-bin=2.27.5-0ubuntu1 libglib2.0-data=2.27.5-0ubuntu1
libglib2.0-dev=2.27.5-0ubuntu1 libglib2.0-doc=2.27.5-0ubuntu1
