The problem here is that - as it seems - some Access Points, routers, etc., seem to give incorrect DNS-server IPs to non-windows clients (i.e. under windows DHCP is working fine, the lease is acquired and the DNS nameserver IPs are gotten - and they actually work, under linux - on the very same
