Binary package hint: gxine
By default the contrast setting is configured 50% which makes video far
too bright, the setting in contrast the setting in Totem gives a nice
picture, not to bright not to dim.
I'm using a HP nc4200 laptop. And Ubuntu Edgy.
Also I would like to point out that totem have a default contrast of 0%
which is nicely in totem, but adjusting gxine to 0% is to dim, so I set
it to the value of 10000, and that works out pretty well for me.
