I believe that this bug has been corrected in Ubuntu hardy
openoffice.org 1:2.4.0-3ubuntu1 so I am marking it as Fix Released. If
after upgrading you continue to have problems with this issue then feel
free to reopen this bug.

I beg your pardon. I forgot to say that I was using Kubuntu, and the
package to integrate OOo in the KDE desktop.
This is an screenshot (in Portuguese) that illustrates exactly the

Which icon set are you using?
Industrial icons (standard for OOo running in Ubuntu/GNOME), the icons
are bold/italic/cursive "A"s to avoid this problem, the upstream icons
("Default") should be localized as requested by you.
