Ubuntu better. Unfortunately, we cannot work on this bug because your
description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful
to read How to report bugs effectively
or you folks can test your stuff out before shipping it.
It's a pattern that seems to falling in between the failure logic of
'passwd' and the GUI apps own internal checking. The error logic is
desynced there and I can't believe this was shipped in 10.10. We can't
even tell that this is 10.10
