egrep randomly starts in background
Binary package hint: grep
Using 10.10 on Dell-Inspiron 1501. Computer randomly hangs or becomes
unbearably slow. Can be idle on desktop or more often while in Google
Chromium, Pulseaudio crashed due to the cause. Can very slowly switch to
tty and open top, and once I do I see egrep using large amo
I should add I've never used any of the trace commands to see what
starts the process, so let me know what to type for any additional info
you need. Thanks in advance.
