I'm still getting this problem with a fully updated Natty install when
logging in via Ubuntu Classic. The unity sidebar appears right on top
of my gnome panel. When I log in via the Classic (No Effects) setting,
it does not occur.

I am sorry I misjudge the use of "opinion" 's status I thought it was
meant to ask the maintainer if the reported issue was a bug from the
package or just a misconfiguration. I will be more careful in further

I do have gnome-session 2.31.1-0ubuntu9 installed on my computer (verified
through the synaptic manager) and after reinstallation of this package and a
reboot, the problem persists.

Sunday as gnome-session 2.32.1-0ubuntu9, so it's rather fix released,
setting that state :)

software is behaving as the desginers / project leaders intend, but it's
reasonable to argue it should behave differently. I'm writing this in an

fixed on my ubuntu (see screenshot3)...

The Nux helper detection tool was timeouting at start. I raised the
timeout to up to a second which should fix the issue
