Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: wine1.0

Summary
************

Using the Wine1.0 package in Maverick works as expected except that in
"Configure Wine" control panel I am able to disable the OSS driver.
Technically I can disable it, however if I load the panel again, it is
automatically enabled. Selecting "Test Sound" plays a sound however it
locks up the "Configure Wine" window. Playing any game or program the
sound dies out right away. The corresponding Wine registry key states my
driver is "Alsa". This bug is critical to me because Wine 1.0 is almost
required when using Intel graphics, as 2d acceleration is unusable in
Wine1.2 and above. (Though that is certainly a separate matter). It also
should be noted this bug is not in the Maverick Wine1.2 package.

What I Expected To Happen
***********************************

Wine allows me to select only one driver, and disable OSS in the control
panel. In programs sound works as it did in Wine1.0 in the Lucid
package.

What Happened Instead
*******************************

Wine is unable to play sounds and unable to deselect OSS in the
"Configure Wine" Control Panel.
