I can not confirm, that this bug is settled, because this same error-
message is still there in synaptic when installing or removing software
thoruhg Synaptic. Right after the Triggers I see this message displayed.
In my case, I have this in LinuxMint 11 based on UBuntu natty Narwhal.

Note that the /etc/gdm/gdm.schemas file was in the locate database of files,
but missing after the apt-get purge gdm; apt-get install gdm gdm-guest-session;
Anyway, here's the schema stanza that seems to be the offending data:
grep -B 3 -A 10 -n books_disabled $(locate schemas|grep -v gz)
