This seems fixed @ the last few updates. I use Ubuntu classic desktop because
Unity refuse to enable 3d acceleration and effects with my Radeon 9200. Still
having a close eye to the availability of compiz enhanced zoom though ;)

This bug should be high or critical as a usability issue.
It will prevent any visually impaired who depend on ezoom every moment looking
at the screen, not upgrading tu Ubuntu 11.04 until it is fixed.
Not beying able to zoom in/out unless moving the mouse
