Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pmount

This is more a feature request than a bug report. We administer some
computer rooms with dataless clients using ubuntu/kubuntu 6.06 and
onesis (see onesis.org). So the root file system of the clients is
mounted read-only. All writable files/directories are in a ramdisk with
symlinks pointing to. So /media is a symlink to /ram/media. I can
automatically mount to /media via hal without any problem. In
/proc/mounts the mountpoint appears for example as /ram/media/usbdisk,
but pumount unmounts only mountpoints below /media. Is it possible to
make the MEDIADIR configurable, for example via a configfile, which must
be owned by root?

** Affects: pmount (Ubuntu)
