until April 2011.

the latest updates installed yesterday stepped on the wireless connection.  
Nothing will connect automatically or manual.
Manual connection is started
The connect to Hidden Wireless Network window opens, the wireless network is 
selected, the connection selected is placed in the connection space and hangs.  
The connect seltction stays grayed out till the laptop is powered off after 
several hours. 

What do you need from me now.

I used another operation systemWhat  to verify wireless hardware was
working
