Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
Ubuntu 10.10 First, I'm not sure it's directly linked to Nautilus. I've moved a file called "Untitled.skp" from my Home folder to the GNOME's Trash applet. The computer has booted around five minutes before the bugs happened. The interface I'm using is the original shipped one. I dragged the file twice. As usual, I took it would take a certain time before disappearing, but it didn't. I tried again. My cursor kept it appearance (dragging one), but still cold move. System was unresponsive : no way to click on icons, windows, workspaces, etc... Some keys combinations was still available such as Ctrl+Alt+F1:F8, Ctrl+Alt+Del. To fill requirements, I've expected the file to be deleted as usual, but it crashed like described upper. If crash of that kind are considered like security vulnerability, I let you decide about it. Also, if you want a copy of the file (maybe it's about it..), it'll be on attachment. I'll give it another try, and confirm if it's really about it. Thank you very much for your time! You are all amazing!!
