This bug is not fixed for me...
I'm running evolution 2.12.2, data-server 1.12.3
It's crashing all the time while autocompleting against my ldap addressbook.
It's easily reproducible:
* Create a new mail
* Type a few letters into the To: field, perhaps hit delete, to force a few
ldap queries
*
Setting as fix released -- upstream just closed it after some months of
waiting for any updates after releasing the fix. Fix is included on
2.11.91 onwards, so it should also be in Gutsy.

Daniel, I am running dapper,evo 2.8.1 and eds 1.8.1. Will have a look at
the DebuggingProgramCrash page and see what I can do. It is definitely
an ldap problem, I have simply disabled autocompletion from ldap servers
in evo's preferences to make evo usable again.

Jan, not sure - to me it looks more like a openldap2 problem.
Simon, which version of Ubuntu and evolution do you use? It'd be great
if you could get a backtrace with 'thread apply all bt full' with
libldap2-dbgsym installed (if you use feisty), else it'd be nice to
getting debug symbols "the old

I have installed the eds -dbg package and attached gdb to eds as per the
instructions in https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Backtrace
I can recreate the problem with the message composition window freezing
when autocompleting email addresses, gdb's output attached.
