Public bug reported:
As a regular user, setting the sticky bit on `which hddtemp` gives access to the drive temperature, which can be conveniently displayed in ksensors. The versions in Dapper work fine. In Edgy, the hddtemp program doesn't work with either the old or new ksensors program, however downgrading hddtemp to Dapper solves the problem. This may be a problem that the output format has changed and ksensors needs to update its parsing of hddtemp output. ** Affects: hddtemp (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- hddtemp in edgy doesn't work with ksensors https://launchpad.net/bugs/71053 -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
