Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pitivi

Rendering does not actually start, even though it says "Rendering" -
nothing happens.

I'm new to video editing and this is my first attempt.
I worked with one .avi clip, trimming both beginning and end to crop a footage
of ~12 min.
The rendering options I chose are:
FF MPEG-2 PS format (DVD VOB) [ffmux_dvd];
TwoLAME mp2 encoder [twolame];
mpeg2enc video encoder [mpeg2enc]

This issue is similar to what is reported in bug #244014
(https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/pitivi/+bug/244014),
but:
(1) I'm running lucid-lynx (10.4) and not hardy;
(2) I don't get any error message, not even when running from the console.
