please upgrade to wacom-tools 0.7.7.7 and report if the bug is still
there. it's fixed for me:

I upgraded from dapper with dist-upgrade.
ii wacom-tools 0.7.2-0ubuntu7 utilities for wacom tablets
and other hid devices
this package contains the file /etc/udev/rules.d/10-wacom.rules
# dpkg -S /etc/udev/rules.d/10-wacom.rules
wacom-tools: /etc/udev/rules.d/10-wacom.rules

I remember seeing this error when I had upgraded from dapper to edgy. it
was caused by some leftover files (indeed
/etc/udev/rules.d/10-wacom.rules and another file from another package).
deleting the old files did no harm and fixed the problem.

What is your version of wacom-tools?
Could you also check if you have a file /etc/udev/rules.d/10-wacom.rules
