Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus
If you plug in an USB stick with an invalid partiton table that contains an entry with a partition that links to is self as its successor, nautilus (and the Places -> Removable Media menu) display many devices for this patition which won't go away if you remove the stick and can't be removed manually. You should be able to reproduce this by dd'ing the attached file to the beginning of a USB stick.
