Public bug reported: If installing mysql-cluster-server I'd expect mysql-setup make some decision to have one my.*.cnf file per node, just to have it easy to copy the config-files on every node within the cluster. One simple way could be using the hostname to distingush between the "my.cnf"-Files for every node. The change could be made within "/etc/init.d/mysql": -------- 25c25 < CONF=/etc/mysql/my.cnf --- > CONF=/etc/mysql/my.$(hostname -s).cnf --------
