Hi Martijn,
Care to comment if you've test against the latest Hardy Alpha6? If the
issue still exists can you attach:
* cat /proc/version_signature version.log
* dmesg dmesg.log
Thanks.

Behaviour changed in hardy! Sound still works, but now all keys beep
when you press them (the ringtone key even cycles through a set of
tones!). still no sign of input events though.

I had this conversation about this bug on IRC this morning:
Treenaks The only place I've seen those buttons working is using a special
driver from the manufacturer, in skype, in windows
fabbione Treenaks: it's a skype phone.. they used to have a driver for linux
too
Treenaks fabbione: but I
I have one extra handset that I can send to someone who is willing to
write a driver.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Unfortunately we can't
fix it, because your description didn't include enough information.
Please include the following additional information, if you have not already
done so (please pay attention to lspci's additional options), as required by

It's an usb device, so lspci won't give you more info.
I've added all relevant lines from the kernel log ('dmesg'); I haven't
found ways to make lsusb more verbose..
So please specify which information you need _exactly_.

Just rebooted and tested with latest kernel.
Still: only audio, no keys
uname -a:

dmesg:

Please don't point a bug at a newer version of the kernel unless there's
some comment about whether it works or not for that newer version. Also,
we are at 2.6.20, with 2.6.19 being obsoleted.
