I was using the natty package in maverick, didn't know of the PPA. Sorry for
the wrong place in which I have filed the bug.
Now I confirm that the last clipit package in your PPA for maverick fixes the
bug.

Hello,
the bug should be fixed for both maverick and lucid in the latest release
available in my ppa (I'm guessing you're using ppa:shantzu/clipit). Anyway,
since clipit is not officially supported in lucid nor maverick, you should've
filed this bug against the ppa, and not against ubuntu.

On Natty, this doesn't cause a crash, but ClipIt does complain about it.
The text is kept by ClipIt, but the history list doesn't display it. It
simply says Empty Label. You can still select it and paste it.
