Hi Krasimir,
Usually it is only the middle mouse button that does this when it is
right over the sound indicator applet. Can you let us know what model
computer you have and could you test a Natty (11.04) LiveCD to see if
the issue is still present in a neutral testing environment.

I tested it again and is not happening only at the edges of the screen.
It is happening on the whole top and bottom part of the screen.
