Actually the problem has become worse for me in Natty, as the trackpad which worked under in Maverick (at least scrolling did and pasting using simultaneously clicking both mouse buttons), while it doesn't anymore in Natty. I also have an ALPS trackpad and it is also detected as such in Natty:
