Public bug reported: Recently I have been finding that sometimes when I boot pulseaudio connects to my Intel sound's analog inputs and outputs, and sometimes it connects to the digital. When it is the latter I have to log out, kill pulseaudio, and then remove and reinsert the snd-hda-intel module.
Surely there must be a way of telling your system that you want analog every time?
