Binary package hint: unity-2d-panel

I am using Unity that comes with the latest natty development branch (as
of 27.2.2011). Unity seems to be very unstable on my Acer aspire 5100
laptop (amd64 bit version). Most visible error is that launcher keeps
flickering on the left side of the desktop (coming and going back and
forth many times in a second).  This starts happening when I just login
with unity features enabled. Classic desktop seems to work ok.

Often the graphics in the launcher are also garbled.
