It is similar to Bug #67299 and Bug#73312.
There is some raid array constructed from not partitions but whole disks.
The mdadm package has a component that runs at boot time from initramfs.
(/usr/share/initramfs-tools/scripts/local-top/md)
This script scans only partitions but no whole disks as a

Concerning the installer logs, could you tell me where to find them? I
will be happy to attach them.
Concerning your change, i think it's nearly as problematic a the
original one. Let me explain:
It's stated in man that Any word that beings with a hash sign (#)
starts a comment and that word
Please file a separate bug for the installer wrong mdadm.conf and the
logs are in /var/log.
ok, since you know about it, can't you just simply test a fix and give
me a patch? It would simply take much less time than for us bouncing
stuff around.

Will try to digg out my sed documentation. I can make a fix for the
given line. But it don't know the how and why md works at startup, so
don't expect me to fix use of mdadm.conf everywhere in startup script

Ok.. I found the bug, and i can fix 2) to solve portition of the long
waiting time at boot, but i am not sure why mdadm generates a wrong
mdadm.conf. I will need installer logs and such to see exactly what
happened.

/usr/share/initramfs-tools/scripts/local-top/md
and change:
-configureduuids=$(cat /etc/mdadm/mdadm.conf | grep UUID | sed -e 's/.*=//g')
+configureduuids=$(cat /etc/mdadm/mdadm.conf | grep -v ^[[:space:]]*# | grep
UUID | sed -e 's/.*=//g')
(make sure it's all on one
