Heya, fellows! Hrm, I'm actually seeing this in today's release
(3.1.21), so it seems this is still a problem after all (see
screenshot). Maybe it's somehow intermittent? I'm seeing it consistently
on my machine, however.

- Using r1549 in trunk, with an unmaximised window, dragging the window edge
inwards (reducing the window size) will shrink the app description in the list
view accordingly (including ellipsizing it in the centre).

Thanks Olivier, yes the guys have been doing quite a bit of work in the
appview recently so I suspect it was just a temporary regression and I
picked up the branch at the wrong time. Thanks.

I could also observe the issue at revision 1549 but not with the latest
revision of the trunk (1556).
I bisected and it appears that the issue was somehow fixed with revision 1551,
even though to be honest I’m not sure how, seeing the diff.
