This is not a bug as I confirmed Gwibber is working on facebook in
Ubuntu 10.10 for me.


Your problem either lies in your account settings in Gwibber or most likely in 
Facebook privacy settings

Please remove your Facebook account from Gwibber and then log into
Facebook threw a browser and remove Gwibber completely under apps you
use in the accounts / privacy settings section.

Now you can set your account back up in Gwibber. 
When you log in you will be presented with the "Request for permission" screen 
from facebook.  
Choose Allow and then go ahead and continue and connect. 

You should now be receiving all of your Facebook feeds and have the
ability to comment and post to your wall.
