I've been able to reproduce it 100% of the times if I have 2 xul windows
in different workspaces, either 2 firefox windows, or firefox and
thunderbird. Changing to each with the Scale plugin will trigger this
bug. It doesn't happen if both windows are moved to the same workspace.

Still present in 11.10, can anyone else confirm?
I'm only having issues with firefox and thunderbird, could it be xul
related?
I can consistently reproduce it by changing windows using the Scale
plugin.

I also confirm this. It usually occurs after one resumes session from
gnome-screensaver, but it occurs randomly as well. Once we minimize the
window or just change windows and come back, then this doesn't occur
anymore.
