In fact, with k3b it actually _is_ possible to burn DVDs. The bug I encountered in k3b happens when you want to copy (clone) a DVD and you select the button for copying a CD from the main screen. Choosing "Copy DVD" from the menu works. Wishlist: If it's easily possible to detect the media, the

Additionally, the programs use /tmp for temporary storage. Correct is to use /var/tmp, because for CD/DVD tasks the amount of storage needed is large. According to the FHS, /tmp should be used for small storage needs. E.g. I have /tmp as a tmpfs (like many others). -- DVD burning fails or is
