** Description changed:
Currently trying to install Ubuntu 10.04 LTS in a VMWare 4.10 machine via
CD-R.
a few seconds into install I get the error:
[ 44.175422] kernel panic- not syncing: Attempted to kill init!
It then freezes.
Several times it did not display this error but only
