Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-control-center

By default the X-Server has got the feature to paste by middle click. That is
not good with touchpad, because in the right top corner is the virual tap key
for the middle click, where you can accidently paste whatever is in your
clipboard.
The right bottom key is the right click, but thats not so problematic.

gnome-mouse-properties misses the ability to configure what corners
should do what clicks and important, if the corners should do any
clicks! it has only to opportuniy to decide if you want tapping or not,
but thats not enough.

kde instead has kde-config-touchpad, which is capable of configuring this very
nicely, but the problem is, that this only lasts for the curent gnome session
not generally
so it is very important to add the functionality to the gnome tool, even if it
is only in gconf-editor!!
