I've had similar issues with the same 2.3.6 version on multiple 10.04
servers. Count me in support of a backport.

I've been struggling to find out why my server occasionally returns a
500 error. I found this log message on a low traffic site (so it stood
out like a sore thumb).
Would really like a backport or ppa so I don't have to worry about this
anymore.
