i can confirm this bug testing xfce4-panel and lxpanel in natty with
system-tray enabled. the bug only affects the status-icon, not the icons in the
menu that is shown when the applet is clicked.
instead of the connection-icon a "missing-icon" is shown. also: the tooltip
doesn't work.
